Life at the Cross...Sharing...
The “Cross”…This simple word plays different roles in many lives yet at times, people just took for granted of its profound meaning in their everyday living…
Some people looks at this as a mathematical notation expressed in the form of addition while others see it in as a divine symbol of religious representation in Christianity. However, in my own experience, this stages the most intense, reflective and significant “moments” in my life…
God had certainly brought me through countless “points” in my life to make tough decisions either to move on or stay back from, to change from who I was to whom I am today, and shift from living with what I had believed all these years to growing with his ever-renewing miraculous grace.
Most of us can say that these moments and points are somewhat “Life’s Crossroads” to all of us. It is the junction where two or more roads of decisions meet, the intersection of places, occasions and even people coming together, while bringing about subtle influence and strong impacts to our respective lives. “To be at a crossroad” as the age-old metaphor puts it, refers to any turning point with an unpredictable concoction and mélange, that goes beyond what our human minds could perceived, but must be braved with what our human spirits can bequeath and stout hearts can dispense with faith and hope to move onwards…
We are all faced with these crossroads at some point in our lives. These inevitable turning points may present positive or negative opportunities to live life anew or recreate our lives in ways we could not have imagined. Still, it entails much shared personal experiences, sage advices and gentle guidance with people that we come across in our everyday life…
In the end of our life’s journey, we can only commit to the contemplation of our travels missions in connecting people with us, shared or prayed for one another through our deepest and darkest moments, and equipped one another with joy, love and strength into an authentic and growing relationship with God…
"Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls."
(Jeremiah 6:16)
At Cross Café in CityMall, Kota Kinabalu, I had met great people, and amalgamate with an assortment of lunch sets and tea snacks, its fine dining and catering, fused with fine blends of soothing drinks.
These humble folks help me to walk through one of my Life’s Crossroads and created lots of unforgettable memories as I traverse through life. Thanks a million…
